Lisa Wilkins-Blount is a mother of two wonderful teen aged son’s Jahaad and Messiah. She is fun-loving and believes in God and family first. Her motto is something her grandfather always taught her, “You’re gonna get the lesson until you get the lesson”. So she believes every moment of life is a moment to learn, teach and inspire others to be the best version of themselves. Lisa is a Licensed Associate Counselor. She has experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, Mental Health Counseling, Education, and Human Service Administration. She is excited to be serving in behavioral and mental health (her former role in 2013 was working with intellectually disabled individuals and families and facilitating the acclamation to the community and also as a Primary School Teacher in both Camden and Trenton, NJ).
She was also worked to keep families united and intact in her community of Trenton, NJ. She carries a plethora of clinical experience including treatment for trauma, relationship counseling, spiritual exploration, depression and anxiety, and health recovery. She has been a mental health program director, corporate trainer, and community and school educator. Recent workshops delivered included stress management for single mothers (Burlington County) and Depression and Anxiety (Burlington). Lisa is currently holding a Master’s degree in Human Service Administration and Master’s of Mental Health at Springfield College and is certified in Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
