This week’s tip is going to be about taking healthy risks for your life. I always have the saying that I say to those that I work with, If you are not taking a risk, you are living a risk, which means that even though you may not be taking the risk that you assume, you’re getting an outcome from not taking risks.
Some of the things that you’re not taking risk on are not giving you the outcome that you want in life. Your fears that you might need to overcome that will make you a stronger, more relaxed or accepting of self-individual. To get out of that box, you may need to take the risk now. Then ultimately, worry about the consequences of that risk as you go along. That doesn’t mean that everything is going to work out. That all risks are going to end with this goal that you intended. But what it does mean is that you’re not failing at life. You’re not living life according to comfort and accepting what is in front of you, especially when it’s not what you desire.
I would hope that the risks you take would be based off of just that, “What do I desire? How do I desire to be healthy? And how do I desire to have my goals reached?”. What I would say is, go ahead. Take yourself out of that self-imposed box. Take the risk and see where it goes. The worst thing is that you could fail and be back into the life that you have now. If you’re not happy with the life you have now, taking the risks will be such an awesome experience that I almost guarantee that you would want to take that risk again. With a healthy mind state, like we talked about last week in terms of making sure you celebrate the progress, you love yourself throughout the progress of any risk you take, you will feel that there is no such thing as failure, only healthy risk.
